September is here, and weather changes are around the corner. As the seasons change, we often see our little ones frustrated with dry, itchy skin. Check out this recipe for a DIY oatmeal and milk bath to soothe those annoying symptoms and get back to playing!
½ cup oatmeal
2 cups powdered milk
1 cup cornstarch
½ cup baking soda
Optional: 2 – 4 drops of essential oil of your choice. (An excellent choice for a night time bath before bed time is lavender.)
Add the oatmeal and the powdered milk into the blender and blend until there are no lumps. Mix in the cornstarch and baking soda and if you choose, the essential oils.
Add up to 1 cup of the mixture to running water in the bath and soak. Enjoy!
